This spring, we’re thrilled to invite you to a special milestone — the 10th Annual Pysanky Workshop, lovingly organized by the Ukrainian Community in the days leading up to Easter.

For ten years, this workshop has united people of all ages to share the beauty of an ancient artform — and we celebrate not just tradition, but togetherness.

This year, we also celebrate an important global recognition: UNESCO has officially inscribed pysanka-making on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity — a global acknowledgment of its beauty, symbolism, and cultural importance.

What is a Pysanka?

A pysanka is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated using a wax-resist method. It’s not just an artform — it’s a story told through symbols, color, and tradition. Each egg carries a message of hope, rebirth, and unity.
